From the Un-easy Chair

This issue is dated August/September and will be considered the beginning of a new volume, our sixth year. There will be no separate September issue, and announcement of the month's meeting is in this issue, p. 12, the back page. Starting with the October issue we plan to make the CS a monthly newsletter. A newsletter listing the meeting announcements which appears on time so we can plan attendance at the ART group meetings. This will require a much sharper concentration on having deadlines and staying within them. The calendar looks like this:

Meeting date, second Saturday, is deadline for the CS. Please let me have anything for the newsletter at that time.
Third week, we lay out the newsletter. The absolutely last moment in which new material or changes can be made.
Third Monday, the CS goes to press.
Fourth Monday, the CS goes to the mail. Allow one week for delivery.
